Quality Engineering Lead
Lead continuous quality engineering on client programmes — functional coverage, automation, performance and release confidence.
About the role
VST’s Quality Engineering practice includes 90+ specialists. You will lead squads that sit inside delivery, not as a final-stage gate.
What you’ll do
- Own quality strategy and execution for one or more client programmes
- Lead automation, functional and non-functional coverage against release goals
- Coach engineers and align with client delivery leads on risk and readiness
- Improve reusable frameworks and reporting that travel across releases
- Coordinate with performance, security and platform specialists when needed
What you’ll bring
- Proven leadership of quality engineering or test delivery on enterprise programmes
- Strong automation background and fluency with modern delivery pipelines
- Experience shaping test strategy, coverage and release readiness with stakeholders
- Ability to lead and grow engineers while staying close to the work
Nice to have
- Performance engineering or security testing exposure
- Experience in banking, insurance, telecom or hospitality estates
- Prior TCoE or practice-building work
